Musk Predicts One Billion Humanoid Robots Within a Decade

Austin, TX – Tesla CEO Elon Musk has projected a future with a massive proliferation of humanoid robots, estimating that at least one billion will exist within the next decade.
In an interview with CCTV, Musk outlined a vision where these robots could assist with elder care, childcare, and serve as personal tutors, alongside performing various labor tasks. His predictions extend to 10 billion robots in 15 years and potentially 100 billion within two decades.
This surge in robotic capabilities, Musk suggested, could lead to a substantial increase in human productivity, enabling the rise of numerous "one-person companies." He posited that individuals might eventually control thousands of physical robots and digital agents, leading to widespread high incomes and a potential diminishing of money's significance.
Addressing education in the age of artificial intelligence, Musk advised a broad learning approach encompassing humanities, arts, sciences, and engineering. He emphasized that understanding how to formulate effective instructions for AI, often referred to as "prompt engineering," requires a wide knowledge base and the ability to structure problems.
