Nanlite Announces FC-1200B and FC-1200C Video Lights
Nanlite has introduced the FC-1200B and FC-1200C, the most powerful continuous LED video lights in its FC series to date. Both models deliver 1350W of power and feature a Bowens mount.
Nanlite has unveiled the FC-1200B and FC-1200C, continuous LED video lights representing the most powerful additions to its FC series. Both fixtures offer a nominal power output of 1350 watts and feature an integrated body design with a Bowens mount for light modifiers.
The FC-1200B is positioned as a high-power bi-color light, with a color temperature range adjustable from 2700K to 6500K. According to Nanlite, it can produce 15,620 lux at 3 meters with a 45-degree reflector. The FC-1200C offers full-color control, expanding the color temperature range to 2400K–12,000K and including ±150 green/magenta adjustment.
These new lights are targeted at professional video production environments, including filmmaking, advertising, interviews, live broadcasts, and large studio setups requiring significant and continuous illumination. The all-in-one design integrates the power supply and control unit directly into the light body, simplifying setup and reducing cable management.
Supporting multiple control methods such as the NANLINK App, DMX/RDM, and NFC, the Nanlite FC-1200B and FC-1200C allow for flexible operation and integration into larger production workflows. Each light weighs approximately 10 kg. While powerful, Nanlite notes these are video lights and do not replicate the instantaneous light energy of photographic strobes in certain still photography applications.
