PARIS & CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Nanobiotix, a biotechnology company focused on developing physics-based treatments for cancer, announced the appointment of Arnd Christ as Chief Financial Officer and a member of its executive board. Christ will assume his new role on October 1, 2026.

Christ brings over two decades of financial leadership experience from publicly traded biotechnology firms in both Europe and the United States. He succeeds Bart Van Rhijn, who is stepping down after five years of service.

"Nanobiotix is at a defining point in its history, moving from a story carried primarily by one asset to one that is informed by multiple platforms," Christ stated. "I look forward to joining the team and contributing my expertise to advance these promising platforms for the benefit of patients with cancer and other major diseases."

With more than 25 years in finance roles, Christ has previously served as CFO for companies including Immatics N.V., a Nasdaq-listed entity. His experience includes a range of corporate transactions, such as initial public offerings, licensing deals, and fundraising for biotech companies.

Nanobiotix is developing disruptive, physics-based therapeutic approaches for cancer and other diseases. The company is listed on Euronext Paris and Nasdaq and is currently focused on late-stage clinical trials.
