PARIS and CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Nanobiotix, a late-clinical stage biotechnology company, has announced its financial results for the first half of 2025 and provided an update on its business operations. The company is focused on developing cancer treatments using nanotherapeutic approaches.

The company reported significant momentum in its clinical development program for its lead product candidate, JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3). The first patient was dosed in the CONVERGE study, a Phase 2 trial evaluating NBTXR3 for patients with Stage 3 unresectable non-small cell lung cancer. Additionally, Nanobiotix presented initial data from a Phase 1 study for locally advanced NSCLC, sponsored by the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Nanobiotix also achieved regulatory harmonization for JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3), with health authorities in major European countries reclassifying the product from a medical device to a drug. This reclassification strengthens the product's positioning for future commercial stages. The company has also filed a new composition of matter patent to reinforce its intellectual property.

Financially, Nanobiotix reported an increase in revenue and other income for the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. This revenue increase is partly due to amendments in its global licensing agreement with Johnson & Johnson. Research and development expenses decreased, reflecting the transfer of sponsorship for the NANORAY-312 study. The company anticipates its current cash reserves will fund operations into mid-2026 and is in active discussions for non-dilutive financing.

Nanobiotix continues to advance its programs with the aim of expanding treatment possibilities for cancer patients and bringing new nanotherapeutic innovations to patients globally.
