Nanobiotix Subsidiary Curadigm and Sanofi Sign Gene Therapy Collaboration
Nanobiotix's subsidiary Curadigm has entered into a one-year agreement with Sanofi to advance its gene therapy pipeline. The collaboration focuses on Curadigm's Nanoprimer technology.

Nanobiotix's wholly-owned subsidiary, Curadigm, has entered into a new collaboration agreement with pharmaceutical company Sanofi. The agreement focuses on enhancing a gene therapy pipeline using Curadigm's Nanoprimer technology.
Curadigm's selected research project utilizes the Nanoprimer technology, aiming to significantly improve gene therapy development. This selection within Sanofi's iTech Awards Program leads to a one-year agreement that includes direct funding and scientific exchange between the companies.
The Nanoprimer technology, invented at Nanobiotix and licensed to Curadigm, is designed to precisely and temporarily occupy therapeutic clearance pathways in the liver. When administered intravenously prior to the therapy, it prevents rapid clearance, thereby increasing bioavailability and accumulation of therapeutics in targeted tissues. This approach aims to overcome limitations in current nucleic acid-based therapies, such as rapid liver clearance and dose-limiting hepatic toxicity.
Laurent Levy, CEO of Nanobiotix, stated that the continued advancement of Curadigm represents an expansion of nanotechnology applications invented by Nanobiotix. He highlighted Sanofi's recognition of Nanoprimer's potential to improve the efficacy of gene therapy candidates within their pipeline.
