Narda Safety Test Solutions expands SignalShark signal localization capabilities
Narda Safety Test Solutions has updated its SignalShark spectrum analyzer platform with new automatic direction-finding antennas and extended frequency range support.
Narda Safety Test Solutions has expanded the technical capabilities of its SignalShark platform, a tool designed for identifying and localizing radio signals. The integration of new Automatic Direction-Finding Antennas (ADFA) aims to improve the speed and reliability of source identification in complex environments.
The system utilizes real-time algorithms to mitigate errors caused by signal reflections, a common issue in urban deployments. Furthermore, Narda has introduced a downconverter antenna that extends the system's operational range to 26,5 GHz, facilitating the monitoring of satellite terminals, radar systems, and automotive emissions.
This technology is deployed for spectrum monitoring, interference hunting, and tactical signal intelligence. Users can operate the system via vehicle-mounted setups for mobile coverage or lightweight handheld antennas for indoor analysis.
