Narda SignalShark automates transmitter localization
Narda Safety Test Solutions has deployed an automated localization feature in its SignalShark system, using real-time data analysis to pinpoint transmitter sources via heatmaps.
Narda Safety Test Solutions has integrated automated transmitter localization into its SignalShark system, designed to simplify signal tracking through statistical analysis of bearing results. By continuously mapping bearing lines, the device generates a heatmap that visualizes the probability of a transmitter's location in real time.
Beyond basic location mapping, the system calculates a confidence ellipse, defining the area where the transmitter is located with a 95% probability. This algorithmic approach is engineered for performance in complex environments, such as dense urban areas, and remains functional while being operated from a moving vehicle, offering a significant advantage for mobile interference hunting.
The ability to process these calculations in real time allows for rapid signal identification without the need for manual triangulation. This technology is increasingly utilized across sectors including spectrum monitoring, industrial communications, and automotive interference mitigation, addressing the need for precise data in complex electromagnetic landscapes.
