Narda's IQ Analyzer for SignalShark Simplifies Interference Analysis
Narda Safety Test Solutions has released a new IQ Analyzer for its SignalShark device, enabling the detection and analysis of interference signals with nanosecond precision.
Narda Safety Test Solutions GmbH has launched the IQ Analyzer, an add-on module for its SignalShark measurement instrument. This new component is designed to enhance the detection, analysis, and documentation of electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The analyzer is capable of identifying and dissecting interference sources, including faulty oscillators, welding systems, relays, lamps, jammers, and others. Its time resolution, extending to the nanosecond range, facilitates the detection of transient or sporadic interference signals.
Key features include a 1.6 GB ring buffer, real-time triggering, time-domain analysis, and spectrogram capabilities. It can continuously record up to 1.6 GB of IQ data for a 40 MHz channel over five seconds, with longer recording times available for narrower channels. Post-measurement, users can switch between high time and high frequency resolution for in-depth signal analysis, supported by up to eight markers.
According to Narda, this tool significantly reduces the time and effort required to locate and resolve interference issues across various technical applications.
