Nassfeld-Pressegger See and Lesachtal regions promote hiking infrastructure

The regional tourism association, coordinated by NLW Tourismus Marketing GmbH, maintains approximately 300 kilometers of marked hiking trails across the Nassfeld-Pressegger See, Lesachtal, and Weissensee areas. The region offers varied terrain, ranging from forested valley floors and alpine meadows to high-altitude rocky peaks.

To support tourism, the region provides access to state-certified mountain and ski guides who conduct scheduled climbing tours and instructional sessions for visitors of varying skill levels. These services are integrated into the broader regional offerings, which include localized hospitality and culinary traditions.

Liesing in the Lesachtal has been specifically identified within the network for its conservation efforts, earning the Austrian Hiking Quality Seal. The tourism association, based in Hermagor, continues to manage marketing and infrastructure maintenance to support the region's position within the national hiking tourism sector.
