Several major coffee chains and restaurants are participating in National Coffee Day on September 29 by offering various customer benefits. The promotions range from free cups of coffee to significant discounts with purchases.

Dunkin' is offering its rewards members a free medium hot or iced coffee with a purchase made through the app. The offer excludes cold brew and espresso beverages. Tim Hortons, in turn, is giving its rewards members the opportunity to grab any-size hot or iced coffee for free via the app.

Peet's Coffee is celebrating not only National Coffee Day but also its 60th anniversary by offering its Original Coffee for just 25 cents. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is providing its rewards members with a large beverage of their choice for $5.

In addition to coffee shops, eateries are also joining the celebration. Einstein Bros. Bagels is giving customers a free, any-size, any-flavor hot or iced coffee with a purchase. To redeem, customers must say "National Coffee Day." Voodoo Doughnut is offering a free cup of its Brewed Magic Roast Coffee before noon at participating locations. Additionally, they have a promotion where a purchased Pumpkin Spice Latte Doughnut comes with a second one free.
