National Math Stars Selects 618 Young Students for 2026 Cohort
National Math Stars (NMS) has selected 618 exceptional young students for its support programs. The chosen students hail from ten U.S. states and possess mathematical abilities estimated to be in the top 1 in 1000.

National Math Stars (NMS) has selected 618 gifted young students for its "National Math Stars 2026" cohort.
The selected students will participate in NMS's multi-year Voyager and Pathfinder Stars programs. These initiatives offer a decade of support for students identified with exceptional mathematical talent, estimated to be found in only 1 in 1000 individuals.
The students selected come from ten different U.S. states. NMS states its objective is to identify and foster academically talented youth in mathematics.
National Math Stars is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and nurturing high-potential young mathematicians throughout their educational journeys.
