National Rum Day Features Deals on Cocktails

National Rum Day, observed on Sunday, August 16, 2026, will be celebrated with promotional offers at numerous bars and restaurants across the United States.
Participating locations include Twin Peaks Restaurant, where patrons can purchase Mai Tais for $6.50, Mojitos for $7.50, and Cuban Old Fashioneds for $10.50. In Washington D.C., Tiki TNT is offering a $15 burger special alongside $9 rum drinks, such as rum and coke or Resort Mai Tais, and rum flights for $12.
Smash Park Westerville in Ohio will offer $4 Mojitos to its rewards members from August 14-16. LALO's Tacos & Cantina in Watkinsville, Georgia, features Mojitos for $7.99 and rum and soda for $4 with an entrée purchase. Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille in Florida is holding a raffle for a rum gift basket with purchases of specific cocktails or flights.
Several other venues are participating: Colada Shop locations in D.C. and Virginia offer $5 Mojitos (excluding the DCA Airport location), Havana Central in New York provides half-off classic Mojitos, and Venus Spirits in Santa Cruz, California, is selling Daiquiris for $10 and offering 20% off online orders of El Ladrón Rums using code RUM20.
