Nazara Technologies Reports Loss in First Quarter
Indian gaming company Nazara Technologies posted a net loss of ₹83 crore in its first quarter. Operating revenue saw a year-over-year decline during the period.

Nazara Technologies, an Indian gaming company, reported a net loss of ₹82.5 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. This marks a significant downturn from the profit of ₹51.3 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Sequentially, the company's performance eroded from a profit of ₹55.7 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26.
The shift to a loss was accompanied by a 14% decrease in operating revenue, which fell to ₹428.8 crore from ₹498.8 crore in the first quarter of FY26. However, on a quarter-over-quarter basis, the top line showed a marginal increase of 7.8%, rising from ₹397.8 crore in the preceding quarter.
Including other income of ₹8.8 crore, Nazara's total income for the quarter amounted to ₹437.6 crore. Concurrently, total expenses decreased by 12.6% to ₹455.4 crore, down from ₹521 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
