Nazara Technologies Returns to Profitability in Q2 Fiscal 2027

Nazara Technologies posted a net profit of ₹35.4 Cr for the quarter ending September 2026, marking a recovery from the ₹33.9 Cr loss recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The transition follows a volatile fiscal period that saw a significant loss of ₹82.5 Cr in the first quarter of fiscal 2027.

Revenue for the quarter reached ₹803.2 Cr, representing a 52% increase compared to the ₹526.5 Cr reported in Q2 fiscal 2026. The company credited this growth to the acquisition of BlueTile and BestPlay, which contributed ₹329 Cr to the top line. Additionally, the company reported organic growth across its existing gaming studios.

Total expenses rose to ₹767.6 Cr, a 43.7% increase year-over-year. Despite higher operational costs, EBITDA grew 93% to ₹120 Cr, with EBITDA margins expanding by 311 basis points to 14.9%.

CEO Raymond Stauffer attributed the performance to the integration of the newly acquired platforms and consistent investment in content. The company maintains that the focus remains on scaling its shared gaming infrastructure.
