NBA 2K26 Free Trial Available for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers
Nintendo is offering Switch Online subscribers a one-week free trial of NBA 2K26. The trial grants full access to the game's content and online multiplayer modes.

Nintendo has launched a new "Play together" campaign, allowing Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to play NBA 2K26 for free for one week. The promotion is available for both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
The campaign, which began on August 7 and runs until August 14, provides players with access to the complete game. During the trial period, all in-game content and features, including online multiplayer, are fully accessible, identical to the purchased version. The only restriction is that the game cannot be accessed after the trial concludes.
After the trial period ends, players can purchase the full game from the Nintendo eShop. Save data generated during the trial can be directly transferred if a player decides to buy the game. These "Play together" events differ from traditional demos by offering the entire game for a limited time.
The NBA 2K26 series, developed by Visual Concepts, has been recognized for its immersive gameplay and realistic presentation. However, the series has also faced criticism regarding its emphasis on microtransactions and in-game advertising.
