NCC has started the final phase of its infrastructure project at the Tidaholm correctional facility in Sweden. The scope of work includes the construction of three new residential blocks and preparatory groundwork at the high-security site.

The project follows a series of renovations and expansions that have been ongoing since 2021 to modernize the facility's infrastructure. According to Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden, the company is leveraging established methods and insights from previous phases to maintain site security and project productivity.

Production is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an expected completion date in 2029. The contract is valued at approximately SEK 470 million and will be booked in the NCC Building Sweden business area during the fourth quarter of 2026.
