NCC has released its interim report for the third quarter of 2026, showing a rise in order intake to SEK 10,832 million within its continuing operations. CEO Tomas Carlsson stated that the divestment of the Industry business area is a strategic move to focus the company on its core contracting operations.

The company has reached an agreement to sell its Industry segment for an enterprise value of SEK 8.2 billion. Under IFRS 5 accounting standards, the unit is now classified as a discontinued operation. Despite this classification, the division will remain part of the NCC group until the transaction is finalized, which is expected in the second half of 2027.

Operating profit before items affecting comparability for continuing operations stood at SEK 290 million. To optimize the group structure, NCC is implementing cost-saving measures, including the relocation of its Swedish head office, which is projected to yield annual savings of SEK 50 million starting in 2028.
