NCC secures contract to build Stiklestad National Cultural Center
Construction firm NCC has entered a contract with Museene Arven to renovate and expand the Stiklestad National Cultural Center in Norway for approximately SEK 215 million.

NCC will manage the construction of the new Stiklestad National Cultural Center following an agreement with the client, Museene Arven. The project scope includes a combination of renovating existing historical infrastructure and developing new museum and cultural facilities.
The contract, valued at roughly SEK 215 million, follows an initial collaboration phase between the construction company and the museum authority. Beyond exhibition spaces, the site design includes the integration of specialized climate-controlled storage facilities located beneath the new structure.
This project aims to increase the capacity of the Stiklestad site, a significant historical location in Norway. Construction work is expected to commence as the final planning stages conclude, reflecting broader trends in regional infrastructure development aimed at revitalizing cultural heritage sites.
