NCC to start construction of We Land office building in Helsinki
NCC is commencing construction of the We Land office building in Helsinki's Ruoholahti district. The project aims for the highest BREEAM Outstanding environmental certification.

Construction company NCC will begin building the We Land office complex in Helsinki's Ruoholahti district, aiming to enhance the area's appeal and livability.
The Ruoholahti area is a business hub with approximately 19,000 employees. NCC has developed the We Land concept in collaboration with the City of Helsinki, architectural firm JKMM Architects, and local businesses. Deloitte is confirmed as a future tenant, relocating its Finnish headquarters to the building upon its completion in 2023.
The We Land building will feature 14 above-ground floors and three below-ground levels, offering 18,000 square meters of office space and additional areas for catering services. The project includes parking facilities with charging stations for electric vehicles and extensive bicycle parking.
The design and material selection prioritize achieving the highest possible BREEAM Outstanding environmental certification, a first for NCC in Finland. This initiative underscores a strong commitment to sustainable construction. The project will be registered under NCC's Building Nordics business area in the fourth quarter of 2020.
