NECPC Launches Business Laptop LAVIE BM94C Weighing 999g with 99.9Whr Battery
NECPC has introduced the LAVIE BM94C business laptop, featuring a weight of 999 grams and a 99.9Whr battery. The device offers up to 30.5 hours of video playback.
NECPC announced the LAVIE BM94C business laptop, weighing 999 grams and equipped with a 99.9Whr battery. The launch follows the introduction of seven new commercial laptops under the LAVIE brand in Japan.
The BM94C features a 14-inch display and is constructed from carbon fiber and magnesium-aluminum alloy, with a thickness of 18.9mm. The laptop utilizes AI for power management, adjusting screen brightness and limiting background processes to extend battery life without impacting work efficiency.
According to JEITA 3.0 standards, the device offers up to 30.5 hours of video playback and 50.8 hours of idle time. The laptop is designed to support five video conferences per day and can also charge a mobile phone.
Available with Intel Core Ultra 7 355, Ultra 5 335, or Ultra 5 322 processors, the BM94C comes with 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 256GB to 1TB of SSD storage. The screen resolution is 1920x1200, and it supports Wi-Fi 7. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI, RJ45, and a microSD card reader.
