NEDHSA and Louisiana Love Home for Children Partner on Behavioral Health Services
Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NEDHSA) is partnering with Louisiana Love Home for Children to expand behavioral health services and support for trauma survivors, including victims of human trafficking.

MONROE, La. – Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NEDHSA) has entered into a partnership with Louisiana Love Home for Children to expand access to behavioral health services, prevention programming, and integrated care for girls residing at the organization. The collaboration also aims to strengthen regional efforts to prevent human trafficking and support survivors.
Under a new Memorandum of Understanding, NEDHSA will provide behavioral health and integrated care services to residents of Louisiana Love Home. This includes evidence-based prevention education and substance use prevention programming.
The partnership addresses factors that place children and adolescents at increased risk for exploitation, substance misuse, and trauma. NEDHSA's Integrated Care team will deliver individualized behavioral health services, such as counseling and care coordination.
The organizations will also collaborate on community awareness initiatives and outreach events throughout the year, focusing on recovery, prevention, wellness, and human trafficking awareness. The goal is to enhance the regional system of care and provide support to vulnerable youth.
