Neil Barua Appointed to Carrier Global Corporation Board of Directors
Carrier Global Corporation has appointed Neil Barua, President and CEO of PTC Inc., to its Board of Directors. Barua brings experience in driving digital transformations and applying AI in industrial companies.
Carrier Global Corporation announced the appointment of Neil Barua, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTC Inc., to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Barua will serve on the Board's Technology and Innovation Committee and the Compensation Committee. Carrier Chairman and CEO David Gitlin stated that Barua's track record in leading large-scale enterprises and applying AI for digital transformation will strengthen the board as Carrier advances its intelligent climate and energy solutions.
Prior to his current role at PTC, which he assumed in 2024, Barua led PTC's Service Lifecycle Management business after the company acquired ServiceMax in 2023. He previously served as CEO of ServiceMax from 2019 to 2023 and CEO of IPC Systems from 2014 to 2018. He also held an Operating Partner role at Silver Lake.
