Nekcom Games completes development of Showa American Story
Nekcom Games CEO Luo Xiangyu confirmed the development of Showa American Story has concluded, with the project now in final polishing stages.
Chinese developer Nekcom Games has finalized the primary development phase of its title, Showa American Story. CEO Luo Xiangyu stated in a recent interview that the team is currently dedicated to technical refinement and quality assurance as the project moves toward its release.
The game features three distinct difficulty levels designed to cater to different player skill sets. The standard mode offers a balanced experience, while the more demanding mode requires precise combat execution. A simplified mode is also available, which utilizes automated mechanics to ensure accessibility for casual players.
Regarding the game’s duration, the main storyline is expected to last approximately 25 hours if players choose to bypass all cinematic sequences. However, viewing all cutscenes could potentially double the play time, with additional time required for side quests and collection-based objectives.
With core development complete, Nekcom Games is now in the final stages of preparing the title for public release, though a specific date has yet to be finalized.
