Nel ASA Partners with Hydrasun for European PEM Electrolyzer Integration

Nel ASA, a Norwegian hydrogen technology company, has signed a framework agreement with Hydrasun to serve as a European integration partner for its MC Series PEM electrolyzer solutions. This collaboration will establish dedicated assembly and integration facilities for Nel's modular and scalable PEM technology platform within Europe.

The partnership allows Nel to leverage Hydrasun's expertise in complex system integration and assembly. By localizing the integration of its PEM electrolyzer units closer to its European customer base, Nel expects to improve logistical efficiency and reduce delivery lead times. Hydrasun has prior experience working with Nel on high-pressure systems.

Nel ASA focuses on developing and manufacturing equipment for the production and dispensing of hydrogen, including electrolyzers and hydrogen refueling stations. The company aims to facilitate the adoption of green hydrogen across various industrial applications.

This agreement is expected to bolster Nel's competitive position in the expanding European hydrogen market, where several nations are actively promoting the development of hydrogen infrastructure and renewable energy solutions.
