Nel Hydrogen US, a subsidiary of Norway-based Nel ASA, has secured a significant purchase order valued at approximately $12 million from Collins Aerospace. The order is for PEM electrolyser stacks, critical components designed to generate oxygen.

These electrolyser stacks will be integrated into life-support systems aboard U.S. Navy submarines. The technology ensures a consistent supply of oxygen necessary for the operational readiness and crew safety in underwater environments. Todd Cartwright, Nel's Chief Commercial Officer, stated that the order continues an established relationship with Collins Aerospace.
