Neousys Technology, a manufacturer of rugged embedded computing solutions, has introduced the POC-900. This ultra-compact, DIN-rail mountable embedded computer is powered by the AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U processor, featuring an integrated Ryzen AI NPU for on-device AI acceleration.

The new model delivers up to 2.7 times the CPU performance of its predecessor. The integrated NPU enables efficient on-device AI inference, crucial for low-latency applications in machine vision, industrial automation, and edge computing scenarios.

Maintaining the same compact footprint as previous generations (64 × 116 × 176 mm), the POC-900 facilitates seamless upgrades in existing deployments. It supports fanless operation across a wide temperature range of -25°C to 70°C with a 15W TDP configuration. An optional fan kit allows for operation at a 30W TDP for higher performance demands.

The system features extensive industrial I/O, including four PoE+ GbE Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 ports, and isolated digital I/O for direct interfacing with industrial equipment. The Neousys MezIO expansion interface provides modularity for adding capabilities like extra LAN, COM ports, or ignition control.

The POC-900's rugged, space-efficient design is suited for control cabinet integration. Its fanless construction ensures reliable operation with minimal maintenance in harsh environments. The computer targets applications in industrial automation, edge AI, and machine vision.
