Neousys Launches In-Vehicle Computer with Intel Elkhart Lake Processor
Neousys Technology has introduced the Nuvo-2610VTC series, a fanless in-vehicle computer powered by the Intel Elkhart Lake quad-core processor. Designed for demanding environments, the device offers robust connectivity and multiple variants.

Taipei, Taiwan – Neousys Technology announced the Nuvo-2610VTC series, a fanless in-vehicle computer utilizing the Intel Elkhart Lake quad-core processor. Targeting off-highway and railway applications, the system features M12 connectors for rugged connectivity and an optional SuperCAP UPS for power interruption countermeasures.
The Nuvo-2610VTC series comprises three models. The Nuvo-2611VTC incorporates a SuperCAP UPS within its expansion cassette, ensuring system operation during power outages for safe shutdown. The Nuvo-2612VTC model offers a PCIe slot in its expansion cassette, accommodating add-on cards such as AI accelerators.
Connectivity includes four Gigabit PoE+ ports via M12 x-coded connectors, two USB 3.1 ports with screw-lock mechanisms, and isolated DIO. The computer supports a wide 8V to 35V DC input with ignition control and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, suitable for harsh environments. Storage options include a front-accessible 2.5-inch HDD tray for SSDs or HDDs up to 5TB.
During the product announcement, Neousys Technology highlighted the importance of reliable connections and stable power management for in-vehicle systems. Product Manager Kaichu Wu stated that the Nuvo-2610VTC series provides extensive I/O, wireless broadband support, and optional UPS, positioning it as a versatile solution for demanding vehicle and rolling stock applications.
