Neousys Technology has launched its new edge AI platform, the Nuvo-9160GC, which incorporates Intel's 13th and 12th generation processors and supports a 130W NVIDIA RTX GPU. This system is designed for demanding edge computing applications.
The platform aims to enhance performance in areas such as robot guidance, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and intelligent video analytics. The integration of Intel's latest CPUs offers a significant performance uplift compared to previous generations, enabling more complex AI inferencing directly at the edge.
The Nuvo-9160GC is built for rugged environments, featuring a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to 60°C, supported by Neousys' passive cooling design. It includes extensive I/O capabilities, with six GbE ports and six USB 3 ports, facilitating multi-camera setups. Expansion options also allow for wireless connectivity modules like Wi-Fi or 5G NR, alongside high-speed M.2 NVMe storage and traditional SATA storage.
This release positions Neousys to address the increasing demand for robust edge AI solutions capable of handling both traditional machine vision tasks and AI-driven data processing in industrial settings.
