NESCAFÉ sourced over half its coffee from regenerative agriculture in 2025
NESCAFÉ reported in 2025 that over half, 53%, of its raw coffee was sourced from farms using regenerative agriculture. The company expanded its support programs and supply chain oversight.

NESCAFÉ's raw coffee sourcing reached 53% from farms practicing regenerative agriculture in 2025, according to Nestlé's 2025 progress report. This increase is attributed to a greater volume of coffee sourced from these farms and expanded on-the-ground programs.
More than 1,600 NESCAFÉ Plan agronomists and employees provided training and technical advice on regenerative agriculture, business management, and social aspects to over 100,000 coffee farmers across 15 countries. The NESCAFÉ Plan 2030 emphasizes regenerative agriculture to improve soil health and make coffee supply chains more resilient.
In 2025, NESCAFÉ reduced greenhouse gas emissions from its raw coffee by 18.3% compared to the 2018 baseline. The company also distributed 20.3 million coffee seedlings to farmers to support the rejuvenation of coffee plots and enhance resilience to climate change.
The report, which for the first time covers the entire NESCAFÉ value chain from farm to packaging, also noted that 98.6% of electricity used in NESCAFÉ production came from renewable sources in 2025. Nestlé also highlighted efforts to strengthen human rights in coffee-growing communities through collaborations with Terre des Hommes on child protection and the International Labour Organization (ILO) on labor rights.
