Neste expands Singapore refinery capacity

Neste Oyj has doubled the production capacity for its renewable products at its Singapore refinery, increasing it from 1.3 million to 2.6 million tons per year. The expansion is expected to significantly boost the global availability of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel.

This increased capacity represents a key step in reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The expanded Singapore facility will also support the supply of renewable raw materials to the polymers and chemicals industry.

The aviation sector aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Reaching this goal requires a combination of new technologies and increased use of SAF. Neste's expanded Singapore refinery raises the company's global SAF production capability to one million tons annually, facilitating more sustainable air travel for businesses and consumers.
