Neste expands sustainable aviation fuel distribution network in the United States
Neste has commissioned new terminal capacity in Houston, Texas, to increase the supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to airports across the eastern United States.

Neste has finalized an agreement to utilize ONEOK’s terminal facilities in Houston, Texas, for the blending and storage of its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This infrastructure, providing up to 100,000 tons of capacity, connects directly to existing fuel pipeline networks, extending supply chain reach to airports from the central U.S. to the East Coast.
The move follows previous supply chain efforts, including a 2022 pilot delivery to New York’s LaGuardia Airport and 2023 terminal access in Los Angeles. By leveraging established pipeline infrastructure, the company aims to scale its distribution capabilities to meet demand from both domestic and international carriers operating in the region.
Alexander Kueper, Vice President of Renewable Aviation Business at Neste, stated that the infrastructure expansion provides a reliable basis for supplying airlines across the eastern U.S. The project aligns with broader efforts to support decarbonization policies at both state and federal levels within the country.
