Neste Expands Sustainable Aviation Fuel Supply Across California
Neste and Signature Aviation have expanded their partnership to include all California operations. Business aviation customers can now access Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel at all ten Signature locations in the state.
Neste Oyj and Signature Aviation have expanded their partnership to make Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) available at all Signature Aviation locations across California. The expansion provides business aviation users with greater access to the lower-emission fuel at airports including San Diego International, Santa Barbara Municipal, Fresno Yosemite International, and Palm Springs International.
Signature Aviation, the world's largest network of Fixed-Base Operations (FBOs) serving private aviation terminals, is now supplying Neste MY SAF to all ten of its California locations. This builds upon an existing partnership between the two companies that began in 2020.
The expanded supply is expected to deliver over 29 million gallons (approximately 89,000 tonnes) of blended SAF, contributing to a reduction of over 62,000 tonnes in greenhouse gas emissions. Neste is the world's largest producer of sustainable aviation fuel, with significant increases in its production capacity.
Neste states that SAF is a key element in reducing aviation emissions and achieving the industry's net-zero carbon emission goals by 2050. Neste aims to help its customers reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20 million tonnes annually by 2030.
