Neste improves 2025 results with performance enhancement program

Neste Oyj has reported a notable improvement in its financial performance for 2025, marking a turning point after a challenging start to the year. The company implemented a comprehensive performance enhancement program aimed at streamlining operations and improving cost-competitiveness.
The company's comparable EBITDA reached EUR 1,683 million (EUR 1,252 million in 2024). According to Neste, the enhancement program achieved a run-rate improvement of EUR 376 million in EBITDA during 2025, exceeding its target of EUR 350 million one year ahead of schedule. Free cash flow before financing activities increased significantly to EUR 759 million (EUR -341 million in 2024), strengthening the company's financial position.
The Renewable Products segment reported a comparable EBITDA of EUR 764 million (EUR 514 million), with sales volumes rising to 4.1 million tons (3.7 million tons). The Oil Products segment saw its comparable EBITDA increase to EUR 808 million (EUR 633 million), supported by improved refining margins, particularly in the latter half of the year.
Neste plans to continue its performance enhancement program into 2026. The strategic investment in the Rotterdam renewable products refinery proceeded as planned, and when completed, it is expected to increase Neste's annual renewable production capacity to 6.8 million tons.
The company's Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of EUR 0.20 per share for 2025, totaling EUR 154 million, subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting.
