Neste Publishes 2025 Green Finance Report

Neste Oyj has published its annual Green Finance Report for 2025, which details the company's green financial instruments and their allocation to projects related to renewable fuels.

The report indicates that Neste issued a EUR 700 million green bond in 2025 to support the capacity expansion of its Rotterdam refinery. Upon completion in 2027, the Rotterdam refinery's annual production capacity for renewable products will increase to 2.7 million tons, establishing it as the world's largest renewable fuels refinery. This expansion will bring Neste's total renewable products production capacity to 6.8 million tons per year.

As of the end of the 2025 fiscal year, EUR 610 million was allocated to capacity expansion and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) optionality projects in Rotterdam. By the end of November 2025, the total allocated green proceeds to Neste's facilities in Singapore, Rotterdam, and Martinez had reached EUR 3,340 million, with EUR 510 million remaining unallocated for future projects.

"Our latest bond issuance demonstrated that support for the green transition remains robust. I am pleased to see investor support for new renewable fuel capacity in Europe with our Rotterdam refinery expansion," stated Katariina Perkkiö, Neste's Vice President of Treasury and Risk Management.

Neste annually reports on the allocation and impact of its green financing under its Green Finance Framework. The company most recently updated this framework in February 2024.
