Neste rises ten places in preferred employer rankings

Energy company Neste has moved up ten positions in Universum's survey of preferred employers for professionals in 2013, sharing sixth place with Outotec. Last year, Neste Oil was ranked sixteenth in the same survey.

Sanna Kauppi, Director of HR Development at Neste, stated that the improved ranking reflects the company's operations and its communication efforts. The company strategy focused on cleaner traffic has contributed to both financial success and a strong internal motivation.

The survey indicated that professionals value the sustainable development message of successful companies, along with competitive salaries, challenging work, continuous learning opportunities, and a sense of purpose in their roles.

The study surveyed 7,273 professionals with university or polytechnic degrees, resulting in 20,260 employer evaluations. The average respondent had ten years of work experience and was 38 years old.
