Neste updates corporate articles of association
Neste has released its updated articles of association, formalizing the company's governance structure, board responsibilities, and operational scope.

Neste Corporation, based in Espoo, has published its updated articles of association, which establish the legal framework for the company's operations. The text defines the company's core business as oil, energy, and chemical production, alongside associated trading, engineering, and logistics activities.
The articles outline a governance structure requiring a Board of Directors of five to ten members, elected by shareholders. The Board holds responsibility for management and supervision of financial reporting, while the President and CEO oversees daily operations under the Board's guidance.
Governance provisions also address the appointment of auditors and sustainability reporting assurers. The annual general meeting is mandated to take place by the end of June, covering essential corporate governance matters such as the adoption of financial statements, profit distribution, and the discharge of board and executive management from liability.
