Neste updates Futura gasoline to reduce consumption and emissions

Neste Oyj has updated its high-quality Futura gasoline, which the company states reduces fuel consumption and lowers engine emissions. According to the company, the updated gasoline products have been developed specifically for Finnish conditions.

The update is based on a new additive that reduces internal engine friction. Neste claims this improves the fuel's energy efficiency and can lower consumption. Additionally, the new formulation aims to protect and clean the engine.

The company reports that the new Futura gasoline reduces greenhouse gas emissions through lower consumption, a cleaner engine, and the bioethanol used in the products. Specifically, Neste Futura 98 E5 is optimized for hybrid vehicles, and Neste Futura 95 E10 contains up to 10 percent bioethanol.

The updated Futura gasoline products are sold in Finland, as well as in the Baltic countries and the St. Petersburg region of Russia. Neste is a known producer of renewable fuels and develops solutions to reduce emissions in transport, industry, and aviation.
