Nestlé Deutschland AG has once again been designated a "Global Compact LEAD" company at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This recognition is awarded annually to 34 companies worldwide that demonstrate exceptional commitment to social and ecological issues through participation in the UN Global Compact.

The company stated that the designation reflects its strategy of creating shared value for both shareholders and society, a concept fully aligned with the UN Global Compact's objectives. Nestlé has been a signatory to the UN Global Compact since 2001.

The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, involving over 9,500 companies across more than 160 countries. It calls on businesses to align their operations with ten universally accepted principles covering human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

Nestlé reports annually on its progress in implementing the Global Compact's principles and aims to contribute to sustainable development by taking a leading role among participating companies. The LEAD companies serve as examples in advancing the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
