Nestlé Deutschland launches protein-fortified Lion and Cini Minis cereals
Nestlé's Cereal Partners Deutschland is introducing protein-enriched versions of its Lion and Cini Minis cereals to the German market in February 2026.

Cereal Partners Deutschland, a subsidiary of Nestlé, will release protein-enhanced versions of its established Lion and Cini Minis breakfast cereals in February 2026. The move targets the 16–25 age demographic, a group identified by the company as having a strong preference for high-protein dietary options.
Each portion provides 4.5 grams of protein and carries a Nutri-Score C rating. The products will be available in 340-gram packs with a recommended retail price of 3.79 euros. By reformulating popular heritage brands, the company intends to capture market share among younger consumers who seek functional health benefits in convenience foods.
The product launch will be supported by a significant digital marketing strategy centered on influencer partnerships and social commerce. The campaign features the integration of TikTok Shop to facilitate direct engagement and purchasing among the target audience.
