Nestlé launches high-protein instant pasta line under Maggi brand
Nestlé Deutschland is expanding its Maggi instant food portfolio with three protein-enhanced pasta products arriving in retail stores this October.

Nestlé Deutschland has announced the release of a new high-protein instant pasta range under its Maggi brand. The products, which will hit German retail shelves in October 2026, are designed to address consumer trends toward convenience and increased protein intake.
The lineup consists of three flavors: Creamy Maccaroni, Maccaroni & Cheese, and Spaghetti Tomato. To increase the protein content, the company modified its pasta recipe by incorporating lentil flour, resulting in approximately 20 percent of the energy per serving coming from protein.
Mareike Drucktenhengst, Head of Maggi Eating and Communications, stated that the move is intended to bring protein-rich options into everyday meal planning rather than restricting them to sports nutrition. The items carry a Nutri-Score B rating and are priced at 1.79 euros per cup.
