Nestlé Deutschland AG has published its 2014 Creating Shared Value (CSV) report, outlining the company's advancements in global social responsibility efforts.

The report, initially presented as a summary alongside the annual shareholder report, allows stakeholders to review Nestlé's 2014 achievements against 38 defined objectives. The full online version of the report is scheduled for release on April 7.

Three new commitments detailed in the report address responsible marketing to children, ensuring employees and stakeholders can easily report irregularities, and combating corruption and bribery.

Nestlé CEO Paul Bulcke stated that these commitments guide Nestlé's management and employees in their shared efforts to meet defined goals. He emphasized ongoing dialogue with organizations such as NGOs, academics, and governments to listen and learn from criticism and suggestions.

Key highlights from the 2014 report include a 52% decrease in water consumption per tonne of product since 2005. Additionally, 72 Nestlé factories now produce zero waste for disposal, and the "Nestlé needs YOUth" initiative has assisted 11,832 young people in Europe in finding employment or apprenticeships.
