NetEase Cloud Music adds HarmonyOS-exclusive sharing features
NetEase Cloud Music has updated its HarmonyOS application, enabling touch-based sharing and gesture-controlled content transfer between Huawei devices.
NetEase Cloud Music has released an update for its HarmonyOS app, incorporating native features designed for the Huawei ecosystem. The update introduces a tap-to-share function, allowing users to exchange songs or playlists between devices without requiring a shared network or data connection, as well as gesture-based content transfers.
These additions follow a period of close collaboration between NetEase and Huawei to optimize the music streaming experience across the HarmonyOS platform. The integration is aimed at streamlining how users interact with content across multiple form factors.
The application saw its first public beta in late August, followed by an official release in September. As of October 20, NetEase confirmed full optimization across Huawei’s hardware lineup, which includes mobile phones, foldable devices, tablets, smartwatches, and the HiCar automotive infotainment system.
