NetEase Cloud Music and BYD Partner for In-Car Audio Content

China's IT Home reports that NetEase Cloud Music has officially partnered with automaker BYD to integrate long-form audio content into vehicles. This collaboration aims to enhance the in-car user experience.
The "AI Daily" application, jointly developed by both companies, will debut in the new BYD Seal 08 model. The service is slated to be progressively rolled out to BYD's entire vehicle lineup via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
The "AI Daily" feature provides personalized daily summaries tailored to user preferences and listening habits. It also includes a 10-minute deep-dive podcast hosted by AI personalities "Da Bin x Xiao Yun," and a 24-hour rolling news feed for real-time updates.
BYD recently launched the Seal 08, its flagship sedan in the Ocean series, available in plug-in hybrid and electric variants starting at 196,900 yuan. The vehicle incorporates advanced features such as fast charging and an intelligent suspension system.
This integration positions BYD vehicles to offer passengers enriched audio infotainment and information services, aligning with the growing trend of sophisticated digital experiences within automobiles.
