NetEase Games Announces "Yanyun Sixteen" Collaboration and New Mode
NetEase Games' "Yanyun Sixteen" will launch a new "Duchen墟" game mode on July 10, featuring a collaboration with "Escape from Tarkov." The mode introduces an independent currency system and strategic gameplay elements.
Chinese game publisher NetEase Games has announced a new game mode for its title "Yanyun Sixteen," set to launch on July 10. Titled "Duchen墟," the mode will feature a crossover collaboration with the popular extraction shooter "Escape from Tarkov," introducing a "search, shoot, and extract" gameplay loop.
The "Duchen墟" mode will operate with an independent in-game economy. Players will earn a currency called "Jinbao钞" (Golden Banknotes) by successfully extracting from matches. This currency can then be used to purchase new weapons, armor, arrows, magical items, and consumables. The design encourages strategic choices, allowing players to either fully equip themselves for direct combat or opt for lighter gear for faster looting and evasion.
Players will have various methods to prepare for each match. "Equipment coupons" can be obtained through daily refreshes or mission completions, enabling players to start with a pre-selected loadout. The game map will also feature special treasure chests, and players can find treasure maps to increase their chances of discovering valuable loot.
Within "Duchen墟," players can collect over one hundred different types of collectibles across five quality tiers. All collected items can be converted back into "Jinbao钞," serving as crucial capital for acquiring better gear and items for subsequent raids. This collaboration and new mode signal NetEase Games' ongoing efforts to expand content and gameplay variety for "Yanyun Sixteen" players.
