NetEase and developer Starry Studio have announced that their survival shooter Once Human is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on August 26. The game is currently available on PC.
The console version will feature over 300 hours of gameplay content, including six story modes and PvP variants already available on other platforms. A new addition for the console release is a first-person perspective mode, which players can freely switch to alongside the existing third-person view.
Furthermore, the console edition will support cross-platform online play and progress synchronization across different devices. Players will be able to compete with and alongside users on various platforms while maintaining their game progress. The game targets 4K resolution at 60 FPS in graphics mode, with a performance mode supporting 120 FPS. Controller optimizations have also been implemented for the console experience.
Pre-orders for the game are now open on PlayStation Network and the Microsoft Store. Special editions include bonus rewards such as cosmetic skins and premium battle passes.
