Neurizon ALS Trial Completes Enrolment Ahead of Schedule
Neurizon Therapeutics has completed patient enrolment for its NUZ-001 drug candidate in the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial in under five months.

MELBOURNE, Australia โ July 16, 2026 โ Neurizon Therapeutics announced today the completion of patient enrolment for "Regimen I" in the Phase 2/3 HEALEY ALS Platform Trial, evaluating the company's NUZ-001 drug candidate for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The trial achieved full enrolment in less than five months from the first participant's dosing, marking the fastest enrolment in the trial's history. The company now anticipates reporting topline efficacy and safety results in late Q2 2027, earlier than previously projected.
The completion of enrolment, coupled with the accelerated results timeline, significantly de-risks the execution of Neurizon's late-stage clinical program. This achievement reflects strong patient recruitment and efficient operations across the trial network.
Participants are now progressing through the planned 36-week randomized treatment period. Neurizon's focus remains on the continued effective execution of the clinical program leading up to the anticipated results readout in late Q2 2027.
