Neuromod Appoints Commercial Leadership to Support Lenire Expansion

Neuromod Devices has strengthened its commercial leadership team with the appointments of Joe Ghiz as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Shannon Basham as VP of Channel Development. These hires are intended to support the company's expansion and broaden access to its Lenire device for tinnitus treatment.

Joe Ghiz joins Neuromod from Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign, where he held several international leadership roles. His responsibilities included leading the company's global commercial strategy. Shannon Basham comes to the company from her recent role as Senior Director of Audiology for Sonova Group in the United States, bringing over 20 years of experience in the hearing care industry.

Neuromod CEO, Dr. Ross O'Neill, emphasized the significance of these appointments during the company's growth phase. "We are thrilled to welcome Joe Ghiz to Neuromod at a pivotal time when strong clinical data, global regulatory approvals, and broad commercial adoption position our company for rapid expansion to meet the needs of 740 million people worldwide suffering from tinnitus," O'Neill stated in the press release. He noted Ghiz's prior experience leading initiatives at Align Technology that established a new category for clear aligners.

Ghiz is expected to lead Neuromod's worldwide commercial function as the company seeks to establish its position as a leader in tinnitus treatment. Basham's role will focus on developing distribution channels. The company indicates that the Lenire device has the potential to transform tinnitus care, and these appointments support its objective to make the device the standard of care within ENT and audiology practices.
