The movie brings together two popular Chinese animation franchises: 'Big Head Son and Small Head Dad' and 'Sky Eye' (Tiantian).
The plot centers on the 'Sky Eye' character arriving on Earth and encountering 'Big Head Son'. Their meeting leads to an unexpected reunion with Xiang Ling, another established character. Using Sky Eye's magical abilities, Big Head Son and Xiang Ling experience a week as adults. However, this immersive adult experience brings unforeseen challenges as the source of this magical power becomes the target of unseen antagonists.
The film is produced by Zhejiang Zhongnan Cartoon Co., Ltd. and CCTV Animation Group Co., Ltd., with oversight from the Central Propaganda Department Film Satellite Channel Program Production Center and Shanxi Media College. The original 'Sky Eye' animated series, which debuted in 2005, featured a boy from outer space who aids a human girl, Xiang Ling, and her classmates in achieving their dreams and solving problems, often with humorous outcomes.
