Apprentices receive modern training guided by experienced instructors, aiming to provide them with a strong foundation for starting careers at Metsä and growing professionally in the paper sector. The average tenure at Metsä Tissue and Metsä Greaseproof Papers is 18 years, reflecting employee commitment and opportunities for long-term career progression.
Training programs cover roles such as paper machine operators, industrial mechanics, and industrial clerks, with a new specialization in warehouse logistics introduced this year. The company supports employee development by offering additional tutoring alongside vocational school and by enhancing presentation and communication skills through participation in job fairs.
