A new global platform for investment, capital accumulation, and economic partnership, the New Asia Forum, will launch on Bali, Indonesia, from December 3-4. The inaugural event targets the mobilization of $30 billion in investments for "New Asia," connecting long-term capital with opportunities shaping the region's next decade.

Established with support from Danantara Indonesia (Indonesia's sovereign fund) and Richard Attias & Associates, the forum aims to serve as a global gateway to "New Asia." It seeks to facilitate projects, partnerships, and policies capable of translating visions into investments.

The forum will focus on eight strategic sectors, including strategic resources and processing, energy, mobility and advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure and AI, food and agribusiness, trade and connectivity, tourism and creative economy, and education and human capital. Over 1,000 leaders and 100 speakers are expected to attend, with an emphasis on transaction readiness and commitments.

Rosan Roeslani, Indonesia's Minister of Investment and CEO of Danantara Indonesia, highlighted the forum's role in bringing long-term global capital to opportunities in Indonesia and the wider region. Richard Attias, the forum's founder, noted that Asia is increasingly becoming a creator and director of capital.
